Some of my creative activity (a list)


  • Designed book covers, newsletters, VHS/DVD jackets and labels, advertisements, posters, brochures, flyers, calendars, photo magnets, and cards for Oregon Sea Grant (while employed as Managing Editor and Editor, 2001 to 2019)
  • Wrote, performed, produced, and marketed three commercial music CDs (sold on iTunes, Amazon)
  • Wrote and produced music tracks for Oregon Sea Grant videos (while employed as Managing Editor and Editor, 2001 to 2019)
  • Designed advertisements, posters, brochures, cards, newsletters, and catalogs promoting Oregon State University Summer Session and Continuing Higher Education courses and programs (while employed as Marketing Special­ist, 1988–1990, and Communications and Marketing Coordinator, 1990–1992)
  • Designed “After Hours” logo for the Oregon State University Daily Barometer, 1992
  • Wrote and co-produced three 30‑second TV spots promoting Oregon State University Summer Session, 1990, 1991, and 1992
  • Wrote comedy radio script, “An Interview with Zen Tease,” for The Neal Gladstone Radio Show (on Oregon Public Broadcasting radio), 1990
  • Played drums for Neal Gladstone and Friends, 1987–1990
  • Wrote, interviewed for, and co‑produced three 30‑second radio spots promoting Oregon State University Summer Session, 1989
  • Wrote, edited, and designed Business Management in Agriculture newsletter, fall 1988
  • Photographed B&W and color photos accompanying the following articles:
