In 1977 the Portland Trailblazers won the NBA championship, and Portland held a parade in their honor. I was there. Bill Walton rode his bike right past me.
Today I got to relive the moment when Jules spotted this picture on the wall at Portland's Laurelhurst Market. If you look closely, you can see Blazers coach Jack Ramsay sitting in a convertible, with Bill Walton and other Blazers not too far behind him.
Oh, and across the street from the restaurant stands Music Millennium, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. I told one of the sales guys that I had applied for a job there back in 1975, and he said, "You can apply again!"
